2015 Etna Rosso, Contrada Blandano, Terra Costantino (6 x Bottle)
From the area of Viagrande, the 2015 Etna Rosso Contrada Blandano is 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio culled from old vines planted at 450 to 550 meters in altitude on Mount Etna. This vintage has faded a bit in terms of color intensity, with browning crimson hues over the light garnet ones. The aromas are just beginning to show some age with licorice, smoke and candied fruit. This is an easygoing expression with medium build and medium complexity. Only 1,500 bottles were made.
