2013 Meursault, 1er Cru Les Charmes, Domaine Michelot (Bottle)

France Burgundy Cote de Beaune

Bright, pale yellow. Sexy aromas of peach, orange oil and nut oil on the perfumed nose, plus a suggestion of vanilla cream. Saline and intense, with nicely integrated acidity leavening the wine s richness. Not an opulent style of Charmes but salty and long on the aftertaste. This vintage included the very old vines from Charmes du Bas, which are now in the process of being replanted.
