1996 Caroni 23 Year Old The Last Rum, 61.9% ABV (70CL)
A blend of what is reputed to be the last casks of Velier's stock of Caroni, you could not expect a more textbook example of Caroni's style and charm. Heavyweight and full-bodied, it explodes with tropical fruit, coffee, chocolate and leather notes. Matured for 12 years in Trinidad prior to 10 years further maturation in Guyana, finishing off with one year in France.
