1992 Benriach 27 Year Old Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask, 41.6% ABV (70CL)
Càrn Mòr are back at it again with this brilliant bottling of Benriach. Distilled in March 1992, spending the proceeding years idling in casks before bottling at 41.6% ABV in January 2019. Beautiful barley sugar nose, with orange oil, honey, thyme and underlying dusty oak. These flavours ramp up on the palate, which has a lovely texture and density, showing cooked orchard fruit and spice. This fantastic single malt whisky finishes with a warming note of honey. Great stuff.
