New: Oldenburg Vineyards

Oldenburg Vineyards, located in the Banghoek Valley in South Africa, was established in 2003 by Adrian Vanderspuy, on the site opposite where he was born. Situated at the confluence of many important climatic and geographic factors—between the mountains and the ocean, in a hanging valley over 300m elevation—Adrian realised the potential to produce wines of great quality and character.

With this incredible confluence of factors, the team at Oldenburg make fresh, impressive wines that balance perfectly ripe fruit character with vibrant acidity. Growing classic South African grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc, along with Cabernet Franc, Grenache Noir and Merlot, Oldenburg represent a new bread of Cape wineries producing world-class wines.
