About this event
We'll be exploring Italy’s North-East—the country’s largest wine-producing area by volume, yet one that continues to captivate with its finesse, diversity, and quietly innovative winemaking.
This remarkable corner of Italy is shaped by extraordinary geographical variety: alpine mountains, glacial lakes, fertile plains, and cooling coastal influences, all coming together to create an exceptional range of wine styles and expressions.
The region is also a proud guardian of indigenous grape varieties. You may already recognise a few—Corvina, Garganega, Vernaccia, Glera—but during this session, you’ll discover what truly sets them apart in the glass.
Together, we’ll explore winemaking traditions, historical context, and the defining appellations of Italy’s North-East, including Soave, Valpolicella, Alto Adige, and beyond. Expect stories, structure, and plenty of delightful surprises along the way.
To complement the wines, enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of cheeses and charcuterie, sourced from our deli partners in Holland Park and expertly paired to enhance each tasting.
Included:
- Enjoy a welcome aperitif on arrival, and a tasting of 6 still wines (red and white), paired with a curated selection of charcuterie and fine cheeses.
- Exclusive 10% OFF will be offered on all wines & spirits during and after the event.
