I am a polyglot who loves food and wine, and who has lived in the Netherlands, France, South Africa, Malaysia, and New Zealand.
As the store manager at Jeroboams King’s Road, I oversee operations, curate our wine selection, curate the wine tastings, I look after our Tasting Room and ensure exceptional customer service. I am passionate about wines; I strive to create memorable experiences for our customers through personalised recommendations and professional knowledge.
Château d’Yquem 2009
2009, university, 21 years old, living the sweet golden life, optimism and opportunity. I have a d’Yquem every year and the 2009 sums it all up for me. It is a wine to savour and to reminisce. Also delicious with fois gras, sweetbread, steak, snails, cakes, Crêpes Suzette and all worldly pleasures.
Bouza Chardonnay 2021
This Uruguayan gem delights with crisp acidity, balanced oak, and vibrant citrus notes. Its elegance and purity make it a standout Chardonnay. Currently on offer!
Terra Costantino de Aetna Etna Bianco DOC 2021
Sicilian gem: I appreciate its Sicilian origin and unique volcanic influence, delivering crisp acidity and vibrant citrus flavours. Perfect with seafood. Reflects Etna’s volcanic soil. I loved meeting the passionate owner! And – great price!
2020 Monthelie Rouge, 1er Cru Sur la Velle, Domaine Eric de Suremain
I enjoy the 2020 Sur La Velle by Eric de Suremain for its purity, lively acidity, and elegant fruit expression. It’s a delightful Burgundy with character. Vineyards are biodynamically farmed and wines are certified organic. This was the first wine that was recommended to me when starting at Jeroboams.
2016 Georges Vesselle Grand Cru Brut
I am not a big Champagne lover, but this Champagne is marvellous. 2013 vintage is also very good. Pinot Noir rich, complex Champagne with fine bubbles, toasty notes, and a lingering finish— an exquisite expression of Grand Cru quality.
