2015 Verduno Pelaverga
Bel Colle, £16.95
This rare red wine is made in tiny quantities by only 11 producers in the village of Verduno in the heart of Italy’s Barolo. Deliciously strawberry fruited, with hints of white pepper and with light tannins, this is
ideal with grilled meats, charcuterie or lightly chilled on its own.
2015 Terra delle Fate
Fiano DOC Sicilia, Feudo Disisa, £17.95
Fiano is a grape made for summer, with honeyed citrus fruits, notes of nectarine and a bone dry mineral finish. This top notch Sicilian single vineyard example is supremely refreshing and is a great match for grilled fish and salads.
2013 Gusbourne rosé
Now arguably England’s finest sparkling producer, this 100% Pinot Noir rosé is an absolute gem. Beautifully coloured, with aromas of strawberry, cherry and pastry, this has a creamy mouthfeel and massive finish, outclassing most Champagne.
